Wyoming Average Gas Price Up Another Two Cents

Petroleum analysts with GasBuddy.com say the average price for a gallon of gas in Wyoming increased another two cents last week to $3.43 per gallon.

“Prices have increased about four cents over the last month and stand 14 cents higher than they do last year,” senior petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan said. “The increases that we saw were largely echoed by the national average, which also increased two cents.”

DeHaan says scheduled refinery maintenance continues to push prices higher throughout the country.

“We have seen gas prices going up because of a cut in production, but refinery maintenance is slowly coming to a conclusion and will likely no longer be a factor in the fluctuation of prices in the next few weeks,” DeHaan said.

Gas is selling for as low as $3.31 in Casper, $3.35 in Cheyenne and $3.37 in Laramie. The national average is $3.65.
