Update 9:30 a.m. – Westbound lanes of Interstate 80 are closed between Exit 235 and Exit 255 near Elk Mountain due to a crash. In addition the westbound lanes are closed from Exit 255 to Exit 267. Near Arlington, Interstate 80 is closed between Exit 267 and Arlington and between Arlington and Exit 279. The westbound lanes of the Interstate are also closed from Exit 279 and Laramie

The Wyoming Department of Transportation has shut down travel in several areas of southeast Wyoming because of dangerous driving conditions. The closure affects several sections of Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne, along with US 30, US 212 and WY 210.
