UPDATE: Subject of Search Believed to Be Safe, Laramie County Sheriff’s Office Says

The Laramie County Sheriff's Office in a Facebook post Monday afternoon said it's trying to find Evelyn Pontoriero to conduct a welfare check.

"Evelyn is believed to be suicidal and may have a firearm with her," the post reads.

Anyone with information on Pontoriero's whereabouts is asked to call the Laramie County Combined Communications Center at 307-637-6525.

UPDATE:

The Sheriff's Office at 5:24 p.m. updated its post, saying, "Harriman Road was (Pontoriero's) last known location."

AUG. 20 UPDATE:

The Sheriff's Office on Tuesday morning removed its post.

Public Information Officer Brandon Warner says Pontoriero is believed to be safe.
