Cheyenne Assistant City Engineer Nathan Beauheim says one of the street projects planned for this summer is a revamping of the intersection  of Lincolnway, Nationway and Dunn Avenue. Beauheim says part of the project will be to re-configure Nationway around the Salvation Army store so that the turn is less abrupt, and hopefully safer. Jeff Wiggins of the city Parks and Recreation Department says that while the street work is going on, a section of the Greenway will be added so that it links to Holliday Park. As part of the effort, the stop light at Lincolnway will be adjusted to allow pedestrian traffic from the Greenway to access the park. The projects are just part of the summer construction schedule for both city streets and the Greenway planned for this summer in the city.
