Woman Robbed Outside Cheyenne Bank, Suspect at Large

Laramie County deputies are searching for a man wanted for robbing a woman outside a bank in east Cheyenne late Friday afternoon.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Capt. Linda Gesell says deputies were called to Wells Fargo Bank at 3600 E. Pershing Boulevard around 4:50 p.m.

Gesell says a man approached a woman while she was making a deposit.

"He threw her into the bushes and got her money," said Gesell.  "The guy then ran to a vehicle and they took off."

Gesell didn't have a description of the suspect or the vehicle he left in.

"We are waiting for video," she said.
