Woman Killed, Juvenile Injured in Rollover Near Rock Springs
A 23-year-old Rock Springs woman is dead after rolling her SUV north of Rock Springs late Sunday afternoon.
It happened near milepost 49 on U.S. 191 around 4:44 p.m.
Wyoming Highway Patrol Sgt. Jeremy Beck says was headed south when she failed to negotiate a slight right-hand curve and ended up overturning her SUV.
Skorcz died at the scene. Her passenger, a female juvenile, was flown to a Utah hospital for her injuries. Beck says neither one were buckled up.
He says driver inattention or fatigue may have contributed to the crash.
