Colorado Resident Dies After Crash on Wyoming Interstate
A Colorado resident is dead following a rollover crash on Interstate 25 that has been attributed to equipment failure.
Mariano Perez Solis, 26, died despite wearing a seat belt, according to a crash report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
Solis was driving a Jeep Liberty northbound on I-25 near Wheatland shortly after 10 a.m. Saturday when the left rear tire tread apparently separated from the tire.
Solis lost control of the Jeep, which slid off the highway to the right and rolled several times.
Weather was clear and the road surface was dry at the time of the crash.
