It has been an amazing few days on the Depot Plaza in downtown Cheyenne. From Sir Mix-a-Lot to thousands of people enjoying pancakes, and the Cheyenne Day celebrations. Next up is another night of free live music with this week's Fridays on the Plaza.

The headliner is Whiskey's Alibi at 7:00 PM, and opening the show is the Black White Blues Band at 5:30 PM.

You may know Whiskey's Alibi from their single ‘Wyoming Home.' Or by their unique style. After all, when was the last time you saw a Wyoming cowboy sing like Chris LeDoux and then toss his hat backward and get the house pumping with a little Gin and Juice? They call it nonconformist County/Rock, or Midwestern Country Music, where the sound is strong, rough, proud, and everlasting, just like its the people.

Opening the show is the Black White Blues, an R&B, soul, funk,
blues band based out of Hampton, VA.

Fridays on the Plaza is a free 13-week music series in the heart of downtown Cheyenne at the historic Depot Plaza featuring a variety of bands over the summer run.
