It all started back in 1946 with a man and a chicken. But Chick-fil-A is much more than just another chicken, it is excellence between a bun and it's here in Cheyenne. S. Truett Cathy, born in 1921, opened a restaurant back in 1946 call the Dwarf Grill, now known as the Dwarf House in Hapeville, GA. It was there that Mr. Cathy learned how to master the fine art of the chicken sandwich.

Today marks the day that Cheyenne will experience Chick-fil-A, for the first time, outside of the local mall. As a matter of fact, it is the only stand alone restaurant, started by Mr. Cathy, in the whole state of Wyoming.

But what makes this place so attractive to people and why are so many throughout the country going up? What would cause men and women to travel many miles to the Capital City to be the first 100 to cross its doors in order to receive a meal, every week for a year?

Watch this video below, and see what Cheyenne is saying about this wonderful restaurant known simply as, Chick-fil-A.
