Weld County Secession, Hemp Industry On Weekend In Wyoming

A man who is working to get Weld County to secede from Colorado and become part of Wyoming will be among the guests on this week's edition of ''Weekend in Wyoming."

At 12 noon we'll air an interview that we conducted this week with Todd Richards, founder of a Facebook page called ''Weld County, Wyo." Richards says he and others are very serious about leaving Colorado and becoming a part of the Cowboy State and hope to achieve that goal within the next couple of years or so.

He explains why and what they are doing to try to make that a reality in the interview.

From 11 am until noon, we'll be speaking live with Catherine Wissner, the University of Wyoming Horticulturist for Laramie County, about the hemp industry in Wyoming.

Where are we at in the process of launching the industry, what is it's potential, what are the problems it faces.
