When you think of a concussion, sporting events, such as football or bull riding may spring to mind. But now, cheerleaders are being warned about it.

Former cheerleader Kaitlyn Behnke shared how it's been over a year and she still has headaches, about 60 to 70 percent of the day.

She's had five concussions over 15 years and all of them came from her participating in cheering. She said that she had her first concussion when she was just 13 years old when she was a base catcher on a cheer team.

She also said stated that short-term memory causes her to not remember when she parked her car and failing to find the right words when speaking to people.
