Very Heavy Rain, Hail, Damaging Winds Possible In SE Wyoming Tuesday
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about possible strong to severe storms in southeast Wyoming on Tuesday.
That's according to a post on the agency's website:
(September 16th: Morning Update) One more very warm late summer day today before a strong cold front moves across the area on Tuesday. This front is expected to produce a line of strong to severe thunderstorms, which will move northeast across the high plains through Tuesday evening. Although very heavy rainfall and small hail are expected with this line of storms, the main concern will be damaging winds with wind gusts possibly over 70 MPH. Thunderstorms will begin across Carbon and Albany counties between 10 AM and 1 PM, and eventually move into the I-25 corridor between 2 PM and 5 PM Tuesday afternoon.
