UPDATE: The Laramie County Sheriff's Office says it is investigating an early morning fatal shooting at 505 Williams Street, in an unincorporated area of Laramie County.

Spokesman Brandon Warner says deputies were called to the scene at 12:44 a.m. on Friday, June 13. They found one person who had been shot. Sadly, Warner says that person has died.

The name of the victim is not being released pending notification of relatives. Two people have been detained, but their names have not yet been released.

Warner says the investigation is ongoing, adding that there is no threat to the public.

Original Post The Laramie County Sheriff's Office says two people have been detained following a 911 call about an injured person in an unincorporated area of Laramie County overnight.

That's according to a post on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office Facebook page. The post does not include the names of anyone involved.

It does say that a 911 call was received around midnight about an injured person at 505 Williams in unincorporated Laramie County.

Sheriff's Office: No Threat To Public Safety

The post says there is no ongoing threat to public safety, and that law enforcement will maintain a presence through the day.
