Tools Stolen from Truck Parked Outside Cheyenne Auto Repair Shop
The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding whoever stole over $2,000 worth of tools from a truck that was parked outside of an auto repair shop in the 2500 block of S. Greeley Highway.
Lt. Don Hollingshead says the theft happened sometime between June 16-18.
"It was a truck that was sitting in front of the business that was going to be worked on the next day and somebody stole tools out of the tool box that was in the bed," said Hollingshead.
"Some of the main items (stolen) include an air compressor valued at $200, a Dewalt worm drive saw valued at $150 and two Hitachi nail guns valued at $300," he added.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
