For those of us that don't like the cold outdoors at 10 in the morning, the Winter Farmer's Market will be enjoyable in the cozy, warm Cheyenne Train Depot.  If you're looking for local breads, soups, jams, beef or Laramie County honey, then look no farther than the Winter Farmer's Market this season at the Cheyenne Depot.

The event takes place the first Saturday of every month from now until May of 2015. You'll be able to browse vendor's tables who come from Cheyenne, Laramie, Nebraska and Northern Colorado.

We like to buy regionally local and now we have the opportunity to do so. Maybe your local egg supplier has run dry. The market has vendor's who have organic chicken and goose eggs for sale as well as pasta sellers and those who locally roast and sell their own coffee.

The Winter Farmer's Market started this month, but will go from now until May. You can go to the market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month.

The Cheyenne Train Depot is located at 121 West 15th Street in Cheyenne. For more information about the market, please call Catherine Wissner at 307-649.2430.
