Here in Wyoming, we enjoy the blessings of low taxes and we like it like that. Recently, the Tax Foundation drilled the numbers down and here is what they found.

The Tax Foundation took the time to measure how well the 50 states' tax codes are, based on a number of different variables. Here's what they found and how the Cowboy State ranked.

Overall Tax Climate, Corporate Tax Structure and Individual Income Tax Structure, Wyoming came in 1st. As far as Unemployment insurance tax structure, the Cowboy State came in 38th.

Of the most competitive states in the union, behind Wyoming were: South Dakota, Alaska, Florida and Nevada.

Of the least competitive states in the union, New Jersey was 50th, followed by: New York, California, Vermont and D.C. and then Minnesota.
