The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in solving a felony theft case.

The closure is only expected to last for one day.

The sheriff's office says people need to stop speeding on Whitney Road.

Last fall, WYDOT added new stop bars and larger stop signs with flashing lights in response to residents’ concerns.

Malatesta says Van Tuyl was issued a stop sign ticket, but neither one of the Cheyenne men were impaired or speeding.

DeHoff says WYDOT will continue to monitor the safety of the intersection while the designs for two long-term projects are being completed.
