A downtown Casper pizzeria owner wants to seek the Republican nomination to run for the U.S. House seat being vacated by Republican Rep. Cynthia Lummis.

The bill bars federal agencies from demanding that citizens and businesses relinquish their water rights to the U.S. government to be considered for a public lands permit or lease.

The Secretary’s action also dissolves the National Blueways Committee which was made up entirely of federal officials.
