A Laramie County jury on Friday found Sabrina Sawicki not guilty of first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse.

The jury in the case against a Cheyenne mother accused of killing her 16-month-old son will continue deliberating tomorrow (Friday).

Defense attorneys have also suggested the boy could have drowned.

A jury of eight women and six men were selected shortly after 3 p.m. today (Tuesday) in the Sabrina Sawicki murder case.

Sabrina Sawicki pleaded not guilty in August to charges of first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse.
