Many of Sturgis' roughly 7,000 residents are leery about the brimming bars and bacchanalia, saying the rally shouldn't happen during a pandemic.

Near the end of the rally, Trump ran through a list of promises for a second term.

"My administration will put the miners back to work and we will unleash the power of clean coal, oil, natural gas and shale energy," Trump said.

“With our victory tonight in Wisconsin, we have now won seven out of eight of the last caucuses,” said Sanders.
