A 59-year-old Cheyenne woman has been charged with felony forgery after calling the police only to be arrested by them.

A 36-year-old Cheyenne man currently jailed for failing to pay restitution fees in a felony theft case is facing new charges.

The robbery involved the theft of "a felony amount'' of electronic equipment.

The Cheyenne Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who allegedly took items from a local truck stop without paying for them.

Anderson was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with two counts of Possession of Forged Writings, Forgery-Permit –Alters Writing Without Authority, and Attempt-Substantial Step.

Officer David Inman says the suspect, described as a white man in his mid 20s, stole merchandise from the Flying J around 2:50 p.m. on Jan. 16.
