Donations can be made at the shelter between noon and 6 p.m.

Event founder Greta Morrow says several records were set in various donation categories.

The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is warning residents not to fall for a scam in which someone claiming to be with the department calls asking for a donation to help keep the roads safe.

"We exceeded what we brought in last year," Eades told K2 Radio News. "After a few minor expenses, it looks like we raised OVER $375,000."

The 2021 Day of Giving raised a record amount of food and personal care donations.

Wyoming will once again host the Jackalope Jump benefitting Special Olympics Wyoming this year and they are adding a twist to this year’s event by offering ‘Virtual Jackalope Jumps.’
