2018 primary election

Tuesday's primary election drew about 52 percent of Laramie County's voters to the polls, a "decent showing" according to County Clerk Debra Lee.

Thompson won the largest share of the Republican vote in Tuesday's primary with 25.01 percent, while Heath earned 21.98 percent.

The county canvassing board will meet Friday, Aug. 24 at 2:30 p.m. to certify the results.

The top three Republicans will face off against Lee Filer, the lone Democrat in the race, in the Nov. 6 general election.

Voters can download a Democratic, Republican or Non-Partisan sample ballot by entering their address on https://maps.laramiecounty.com/myrep.

Candidates have until June 1 to register for the August Primary Election.

Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee says her office will begin accepting applications for county offices at 8 a.m. on May 17.
