Lee says Tuesday's numbers nearly beat those set back in 2006, when the county saw 75 percent voter turnout.

Thompson won the largest share of the vote in Tuesday's general election with 28.74 percent, while Heath earned 26.93 percent.

Here are the final unofficial election results from the Laramie County Clerk's Office.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Laramie County voters can cast ballots at any of 13 voting centers across the county.

The next step in the process is to get the signatures of enough registered voters to get the issue on the 2018 General Election Ballot.
