SE Wyoming Can Expect Hot Weather Through Thursday, Cooler, Wetter Weekend
It looks like southeast Wyoming residents can expect one more day of near 90 degree temperatures before monsoonal moisture hits the area on Friday.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:
''Two more hot days are expected for the area with widespread upper 80s to 90s, and a few locations making another run at 100 degrees. Thursday may not be quite as hot, particularly further north and west, while those from Cheyenne to Alliance and points southeast can expect highs similar or slightly above today's.
An approaching storm system will return scattered thunderstorms to the forecast beginning late Thursday afternoon and continuing into Friday morning. A cold front will arrive Thursday night and bring a much cooler weather pattern Friday through the middle part of next week with daily thunderstorm chances.''
