SE Wyoming To See Near Record Temperatures This Week
Southeast Wyoming residents could see near-record to record temperatures for the date on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
Thar's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on their website
Temperatures will heat up as we head into Monday. Forecast highs are within a few degrees of daily record highs across the area, reaching the upper 70s around Laramie and Rawlins, and 80s to low 90s along and east of I-25. Breezy conditions will also increase fire danger.

Warm temperatures will dominate the week ahead, with near record highs and high fire danger expected on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. A slight cool down is expected in the middle of this, on Tuesday.
Slightly cooler temperatures will return for the end of the week into the weekend as chances for isolated to scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms return to the area. Details concerning potential storm coverage and intensity are very uncertain as we are still several days out.
