90-105 Degree Temps To Blast Southeast Wyoming

After a few days of cool, wet weather, it's back into the oven for southeast Wyoming.

That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:

Hot temperatures will return this weekend across the area. A Heat Advisory has been issued beginning 11 AM Saturday and continuing through 9PM Monday for areas along and east of I-25. Expect highs between 95 and 105 in Wyoming, and 100 to 109 in Nebraska. In addition to the warm daytime high temperatures, overnight lows will be quite warm, generally in the mid 60s to near 70 degrees. The Chadron area may stay stuck in the upper 70s to low 80s Saturday night.


Another hot weekend is in store with daily high temperatures in the mid-80s to low- to mid-100s. Sunday will be the warmest day, with most locations seeing daytime highs above 90F, except the mountains. Limited precipitation chances expected Friday and Saturday (15% at best), with increasing probability of isolated to scattered showers and storms on Sunday (20-40%). Stay cool this weekend and don’t forget to check in on those that may be more susceptible to heat-related issues.
