Freezing Temperatures, Snow Expected In Cheyenne, Laramie
After a couple of days of warm, mild weather old man winter is making a return to southeast Wyoming.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on it's website:
5PM 4/15 - A strong cold front will sweep through the area tomorrow afternoon or evening, and send temperatures plummeting. In addition, most of the area will see a chance for snowfall through the day on Friday. Snow will begin Thursday evening in Carbon and Converse Counties, where a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued. Hazardous travel conditions are expected in these areas Thursday evening through early Friday afternoon. A few snow squalls will also be possible. After midnight and into Friday morning, snow will spread eastward towards the Laramie Valley and High Plains. Stay tuned for additional updates tomorrow.

5PM 4/15 - Winter-like temperatures will return to the area following tomorrow evening's cold front. Expect highs in the 30s to low 40s with blustery conditions on Friday, followed by lows in the teens to lower 20s Saturday morning. Cold temperatures may damage or kill sensitive vegetation that has emerged from dormancy early this year following the extremely warm start to spring. Outdoor irrigation systems may also be damaged.
