Everyone is prepping for the Cheyenne snowstorm of 2019.

The city of Cheyenne asks, if you are out on the roads tomorrow, please be cautious to all snow plows and try to stay clear so they can do their job in a timely manner.  If you are following a plow truck, stay far enough back so the drivers can spread the snow melting product on the streets.

The first priority is the main roads like Yellowstone Road, Central and Warren Avenues, Lincolway, College Drive, and S. Greeley Highway.

Then the plows will move on to the secondary roads like Carey and Snyder Avenue, Ridge Road, 12th, 24th, 19th, and 20th streets, Avenue C, and West/East Allison.  The goal for these streets is to make sure that traffic is at least flowing and not at a standstill.

For side streets, those are the last on the list.  Once the priority and secondary streets are clear, then the plows will make their way down residential side streets.
