The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says severe thunderstorms with strong winds and hail up to half dollar size are possible in southeast Wyoming on Monday.

A brief tornado also can't be ruled out.

The agency posted this statement on its website on Monday:

''Another round of thunderstorms likely again Monday afternoon from 2 to 10 pm in the Dark Green colored area. Main hazards will be 40-60 mph winds, Pea to half-dollar sized hail, and frequent lightning. Storms look to form off the Mountains and then shift east during the afternoon. Stay alert through the afternoon and evening hours Monday."
