Wyoming Game and Fish Investigators are trying to find out who illegally shot a pronghorn buck last month and left the animal to waste.

That's according to a Game and Fish news release.

Animal Was Killed In August

According to the release, the pronghorn was killed on August 29 around 7:30 a.m. Someone was seen driving a dark gray Chevy truck in the area around that time. That person is suspected of being involved, according to the release.

The crime occurred on private land along the Fetterman Road just outside of Rock River in Antelope Hunt Area 42.

“We are seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation as any information can make the difference in cases like this,” said North Laramie Game Warden Elise Calhoun. “Even a small detail could help us hold the responsible person accountable.”

Tipsters can remain anonymous. It helps investigators develop leads if you can memorize license plate numbers or any details of the vehicles, such as make, color, noticeable body damage, the ae of the vehicle or anything else that mi8gh help identify suspect cars.

Likewise, details about people in the vehicle, including the driver, are often helpful.

Tipsters could be eligible for a reward through the Wyoming Wildlife Protectors Association
