The Wyoming Department of Health is urging Wyoming residents over the age of six months to get a flu shot.

The department says the shots are the best way for people to protect themselves against influenza. The agency says 23 people in Wyoming died last year from the flu. The federal Centers for Disease Control [CDC] says anywhere between 12,000 and 79,000 people in the U.S. have died every year since 2010 from flu.

So do you plan to get a flu shot? Or are you going to take your chances without being immunized against the flu?

We'll publish the results of our survey in a few days.
