Update: While the "no unnecessary travel" warning for Interstate 80 in the Cheyenne area has now been lifted, travel conditions across most of southeast Wyoming remain poor at this hour, with slick roads and poor visibility reported in many areas.

While Interstates 80 and 25 in Wyoming both remained open at last report, the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) had posted a "no unnecessary travel" warning for interstate 80 between Buford and Wyoming highway 217 in the Cheyenne area.

Several other stretches of Interstate 80 also had travel advisories posted for slick roads, poor visibility, and black ice.

Much of Interstate 25  between Casper and the Colorado state line also had travel advisories posted, although at last report no closures had been imposed. You can access the latest Wyoming Road and Travel Report from WYDOT here.
