A spokesman for the Laramie County Sheriff's Office says a man who was injured in a motorcycle crash On West Riding Club Road earlier this month has died in a Colorado hospital.

Brandon Warner says the crash happened on April 7 at 8:30 p.m. when a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed was traveling westbound on West Riding Club Road and failed to stop at the Hynds Blvd. Intersection.

The motorcycle and rider continued through the intersection before crashing into the I-25 right-of-way fence. The motorcycle came to rest on the embankment on the west side of Interstate 25.

Rider Passed Away A Couple of Days Ago In A Colorado Hospital

The rider, 25-year-old Juan Salinas Jr., sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado. Sadly, he died of his injuries on April 15th.

According to a news release "Laramie County Sheriff’s Office deputies trained in crash scene reconstruction, documented the scene and are currently investigating the crash. This is an ongoing investigation.
