For the sixth year running, Family Days at the museum are one of the busiest days of the month.  The December Family Day will be a little different as the kids will be making Christmas Treats to bring home.

The first Saturday of every month, October through May, the Museum has Family Day which is a free program.  It is very fun, educational for the whole family, and it gives people a chance to explore into Wyoming's history a little more.  Each month it is something different and kids have to be with there parents at all times.  This Saturday the kids will be measuring, mixing and baking some of their favorite Christmas treats.  then afterward they will comprise their own Christmas cookbook to take home.

The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. this Saturday, December 1st.  The Wyoming State Museum is located at 2301 Central Avenue in Cheyenne. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Admission to the Museum and all of its education programs is free.
