Listeria Advisory Issued For Frozen Broccoli Sold At Walmart
A precautionary advisory has been issued for frozen broccoli, according to a release from Laramie County Public Health.
According to the release, Braga Fresh has issued a precautionary advisory for 12oz bags of Marketside Broccoli Florets sold at Walmart stores. According to the release:
The adivisory is for listeria. The release says that listeria can cause healthy people to experience short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
What Are The Symptoms Of Listeria
Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
For elderly people, those with compromised immune systems, and young children it can be a serious and potentially fatal infection. According to the release, here is what consumers should look for:
