The Wyoming Legislature is set to host redistricting public hearings in southeast Wyoming. The Wyoming legislature’s Joint Corporations, Elections and Political Subdivisions Committee will be in southeast Wyoming on June 28th to gather public comment on this year’s legislative redistricting. Under the Wyoming constitution, the legislature is required to redraw state legislative districts every ten years following the U.S. Census to reflect population shifts. the legislature will finalize the plan during the 2012 budget session, which begins in February.
