LC Fire District #2 Preparing For Wildfire Season

Crews from Laramie County Fire District #2 spent Saturday Training for what some are expecting to be a very busy Spring and Summer wildfire season. The training included both classroom and hands on outside field training, such as deploying hand lines,  digging fire breaks and deploying fire shelters for emergency protection. The area covered by District #2 is over 1100 square miles of Laramie County and encompasses grassy fields, timber areas and urban/wildland interfaces.
