The Laramie Police Department will hold its National Night Out event on August 6 at Kiwanis Park.

That's according to a post on the agency's Facebook page.

According to the post, the night will begin with the Laramie Soup Kitchen providing dinner for the guests from 5:30 until 7 p.m. After dinner, ice cream will be served along with a showing of the movie Zootpia.

Participants will also have the chance to check out the LPD vehicles, including the department's cruisers, bomb truck, and even the department Bearcat.

People are also being invited to bring yard games and hang out with the police officers before the movie.
