Laramie Main Street Was Launched in 2005

According to the release, Laramie Main Street was started in 2005 by a group of citizens, business owners and the Laramie City Council..

The release says achievements include "the growth of local businesses, scale of physical improvements, vibrancy of community events, and in the dedication of community partners and volunteers."

Kim Jessen, Laramie Main Street’s Volunteer Coordinator reflects on what she loves about working downtown. “The business owners, residents, workers, police officers and customers are a beautiful tapestry of skills, talent, and interest that makes the place what it is. We talk to one another,  greet each other on the street,  help others, and take care of what is ours, together”.

Laramie Main Street is inviting people to celebrate the occasion by making a one time or monthly $20 tax deductible donation
