Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee is reminding local voters that they can vote at any of 13 Vote Centers in the county on Nov. 8th.

That includes 11 centers in and around Cheyenne, one in Pine Bluffs and one in Burns.

Voters do not have to go to a polling place based on their address.

Lee says the voting centers will be the same ones that were used in the August primary election. Click here for the Find A Vote Center application that will tell voters the locations of the nearest centers and the estimated waiting time to cast a ballot.

Here is a list of the voting centers:

Storey  Gym, 2811 House Ave; Kiwanis Community House, 4603 Lions Park Dr; VFW 1881, 2816 E 7th ; Cheyenne Berean Church, 5716 Powderhouse Rd; Cheyenne Alliance Church, 5200 Ridge Rd; First Congregational Church, 3501 Forest Dr; Yellowstone Baptist Church, 9204 Yellowstone; LCCC CCI Building, 1400 E College Dr; David Romero Park, 1317 Parsley Blvd; Laramie County Fair, 3965 Archer Pkwy, ‘M’ Bldg; Burns Plex, 327 S Main; and Pine Bluffs Community Center, 708 Lawson St.

Lee says all of the voting centers will have "Vote Here" feather flag totems to help identify them.

The largest voting location, Story Gym, will have 35 voting locations while the smallest, Gilchrist school, will have eight.

First-time voters and those who have recently registered by mail will have to bring a government-issued photo ID. Voters who want to change their party affiliation or other registration details will also need to present an ID. Lee says that while it may not be required of other voters, it's always a good idea to help election judges identify voters more quickly.

Polls will be open from 7 a,m, until 7 p.m., or until the last voter in line at 7 p.m. has voted. lee is also reminding people that the county clerk offices, except for Real Estate and Recording, will be closed on Nov. 8 for election day.

Lee says she is expecting a strong turnout, based on the number of early voters who have cast ballots.

She also says that while taking ''selfies" while voting is legal under Wyoming law, it is strongly discouraged. She says election judges may ask people not to take selfies even though it isn't actually illegal.
