Laramie County Sheriff's Office: Fire Near School, Students Safe

The Laramie County Sheriff's Office has issued a statement on a fire near Afflerbach Elementary school.

Sheriff's Office Statement

Fire Department and Sheriff’s Office personnel have responded to a structure fire in the 3100 block of Terry. This is near Afflerbach Elementary School, but the school hasn’t been impacted. Fire and Sheriff officials are in communications with school staff and no students are in danger. Currently two structures have been damaged, and a grass fire has started.
