
Laramie County Sheriff: Duo Arrested In Burglary Investigation
The Laramie County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrests of two men in connection with a pair of recent burglaries.

According to a post on the LCSO Facebook page, the investigation started on April 22 when a burglary was reported in the 1900 Block of County Road 244. On April 28, another burglary was reported in the 1400 Block of County Road 228. But this time a camera recorded two men arriving on the scene in a Toyota 4Runner.
Photos On Facebook Generate Tips For Investigators
The Sheriff's Office posted pictures of the two men on it's Facebook page, and tips started coming in. From that information, investigators identified the two suspects as 48-year-old Mathew Christie, and 43-year-old Ignacio Quintanilla Jr.
Deputies found out that Christie had a 4Runner registered at an address in the 3200 Block of Box Elder Drive. The vehicle was seen at that address, and a search warrant for the vehicle and the residence at that address was served on May 13.
According to the post deputies found items from both burglaries, and Christie was arrested and booked into Laramie County Detention Center on two counts of burglary.
A search warrant for Quintanilla’s home in the 3300 block of Stevens Drive was served on May 25th, turning up more items from the burglaries, Quintanilla was arrested and booked on two counts of burglary.
The sheriff's office is thanking everyone who came forward with information in the case. It's important to remember that all suspects are presumed to be innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
