The Laramie County Sheriff's Office has announced several National Night Out events to be held around the county on August 6th.

The local events are being held in conjunction with National Night Out events nationwide.

According to a news release, the local event will allow folks to "meet people that live in your area and the men and women that serve our community. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. These events are designed to bring neighbors, businesses, and law enforcement together in partnership against crime in Laramie County."

Laramie County Night out events will be held at the following locations:

Little Bear Inn: Steak House and bar

HealthWorks 2508 East Fox Farm Rd

The Bunkhouse Bar and Grill

Liberty Park in the town of Burns

Laramie County Fire District #3 in Albin

1800 Block of Charles Jake Court

5400 Skyline Drive

At the various locations, there will be food and activities. Fire trucks and sheriff's vehicles will also be there, and Laramie County Public Works will have some of their equipment at 5400 Skyline Drive.

As the event gets closer, more details will be posted at the Laramie County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
