Cheyenne Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is partnering with Gastroenterology of the Rockies to bring a new clinical site to Cheyenne.

The Laramie County Board of Commissioners Tuesday unanimously approved a resolution for the joint venture.

"It's a great partnership," said CRMC Chief Executive Officer Margo Karsten. "It will promote our inpatient services as well as our outpatient services regarding gastrointestinal (GI) disease and together we'll make sure the care is the best possible for our community."

Karsten says they hope to have new clinics up and running within 6 to 8 months.

"They've committed to do inpatient and outpatient, we're just trying to figure out the specific location of those clinics and the coverage that they'll help us provide in partnership with our esteemed physicians if they're interested," said Karsten.
