Join A Cheyenne Mom For Her Autism Walk
In 2018 the CDC ran the numbers and estimated that 1 in 59 children is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
They also found that boys are four times more likely to be diagnosed with autism than girls.
Susan Brown of Cheyenne Wyoming has two kids. Both have Autism and she wants to bring people affected by ASD together for support and to connect with other families that have autism in their family.
One of the ways she is doing this is by hosting a walk on Saturday, April 6, 2019 beginning at the Depot Plaza in Cheyenne at 11:00 AM.
If you have a family member with Autism Susan also has a Facebook group called Autism Support.
Susan also hosts a support group in person for those who need a little help, or just someone to talk to. They meet in the Sunflower Room at the library in Cheyenne.
You can contact Susan for more information at SusanBrown.com@gmail.com or call her at (307) 275-2241.
