PhotoFest: State Track & Field Meet Day #2

The 2nd day of competition at the State Track and Field Meet in Casper on Friday featured sunny skies, pleasant temperatures, and no wind, believe it or not. In the girls' competition, Natrona set an overall state record in the 4x100 relay in 47.81. Lander's Adelyn Anderson set the 3A record in the discus at 154-9 and set the overall record in the shot put on Thursday.

On the boys' side, Star Valley set the overall state record in the 4x800 relay with a clocking of 7.51.72. Quincy Paris of Midwest set the overall state mark in the triple jump with a leap of 48-10. Buffalo set the 3A record in the 4x800 relay in 8.02.00, and Big Horn set the 2A record in the 4x100 relay in 42.75. Cole Rogers of Kemmerer is the 2A record holder in the 300 hurdles in 37.48, and Burlington's Weston Godfredson owns the 1A record in the pole vault at 14-3.
