Photofest: Big Horn Captures 2A Volleyball Crown Over Burns

Last season, Burns met Big Horn for the 2A Volleyball championship with Burns prevailing in 4 sets. This season, Big Horn turned the tables and downed Burns in 4 sets to win their 2nd state title in the last 3 years. The Rams held off the Broncs at the Ford Center in Casper 21-25, 25-11,25-12, and 25-20. Even though Big Horn lost the first set, they weren't fazed at all. This is a team that had a trio of returning all-state players and played like champions in the state tournament,

Big Horn went 29-9 this season and recorded their 6th state title in volleyball in school history. Burns entered the state tournament with a record of 15-18 but defeated Greybull, the #1 seed from the West in the quarterfinal round, and beat Tongue River in the semi-final round in 5 grueling sets. The Broncs showed a lot of heart at this year's tournament.
