Meet Buffalo Bills Players At “Huddle For Hunger” Food Drive

The Buffalo Bills, along with Wegmans, are hoping to break the record they set last year for food donations with this year's "Huddle For Hunger" food drive and event. It is happening today from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm, and here is what you need to know.

Once again, the Buffalo Bills are teaming up with Wegmans to collect much-needed non-perishable food items and monetary donations to benefit FeedMore WNY.

The annual "Huddle for Hunger" event collected 65,100 pounds of food, and they are hoping to collect even more this year.

This year's event will run today (September 22nd) from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm in the parking lots of the new Highmark Stadium. You can drive in and drop off donations or you can park, drop off donations, and enjoy the festival.

According to the Buffalo Bills website, on top of the food drive, there will be a lot to do.

Diverse range of vendors, including our 20 Huddle for Hunger charities, Wegmans, and the Buffalo Bills Foundation.  It will also include a variety of activities including Allen Family Farms cantaloupe sampling, appearances by Bills players, alumni and Bill Buffalo, photo opportunities. music, and more!

Last year, FeedMore WNY assisted more than 150,000 individuals throughout Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara counties. They provided enough food through their programs and services for nearly 17 million meals.

Besides making a donation at the "Huddle For Hunger" event, you can also satisfy your sweet tooth and help out FeedMore WNY.

Now through the end of September, Fowler's Chocolates will donate $1 for every pound of sponge candy sold to FeedMore WNY to support their mission of alleviating hunger in Western New York.
