July isn't just the month we celebrate the Independence of the United States, it's also the month we celebrate grilling.

So how can you celebrate National Grilling Month?

By grilling as much as possible and as many different types of meat, vegetables, or desserts that you can.

Here in Wyoming, beef is king. Grill masters all over the state are already choosing the cut of beef they'll be grilling for the 4th of July. On the other hand, there are those folks that have been just waiting to break out the grill and sear up that wild game steak from their latest harvest.

There are almost 100 million people that will be grilling to celebrate Independence Day, here's the breakdown of what they'll be grilling.

There's no wrong way, as long as you're enjoying food off the grill and celebrating National Grilling Month.

If you've gone to the grocery store lately, you've probably seen the prices have changed quite a bit over the last year.

Michael Swanson, Ph.D, Wells Fargo Chief Agricultural Economist say's:

Food inflation has definitely started to slow down, and this is good news for consumers. However, it still won’t be cheaper to celebrate the Fourth of July this year. The reason stems from the current pricing for some of the key menu ingredients.

According to the report, steak is up 2.9%, ground beef is up under 1% and pork chops are up about 1%. On the other hand, chicken breasts are down almost 2% compared to last year.

The price for your side dishes, buns, milk products and sweet treats are all up from what it was in 2022.

With that said, you know how much we like to part for the 4th and grill for the summer, I don't really see us not grilling. Since the prices are a little higher, you want to make sure you're getting the best product you can off the grill. So here are a couple videos of ideas to enhance your grilling abilities.
